When buying a cheap MP3 player a 1GB model is a very good choice as they are often just as cheap as the smaller MP3 players but offer much more space for your music.

A 1GB MP3 player has enough space for around 250 songs which is a good amount. It is not enough for the real music enthusiasts but for most people 250 songs is enough for general listening.
