The iPod is very good if you want to listen to music through earphones but what if you want the music out loud? Well you can connect your iPod to your computer or audio system but it is much more convenient to have your own speakers for the iPod which you can take with you wherever you use your iPod.
Most iPod speakers offer stereo speakers and there are many levels of quality. The cheap iPod speakers will not produce the same quality of sound as the high quality expensive iPod speakers but they are fine for occasional listening.
